Rationale for funny money
Must be funny is the one commandment necessary for salvation, to escape the sin of seriousness that has us in its grip. We are funny if we make people laugh, and funny money is our reward. Ideally, funny money is laughter made visible, given to funny people for making us laugh. Funny people get rich, their wealth a measure of funniness and spiritual virtue.

The rest of us perform a useful function as audience, for which we earn $100/hr in funny money to reward the performers. Being an audience and laughing ourselves is the first step to funniness.

To become funny we need to immerse ourselves in funny school, projects, events, parties and performances. We'll tend to form funny groups that we play with. We'll build a funny world, a play space, a sitcom full of running jokes.

Starting out, we might be only 1% funny, making people laugh only 1% of the time. Then 99% of our time will go into building our funny world learning environment.

The rule we follow is make funny money. If we can't make people laugh, we make funny money building funny world. We make $100/hr for showing up, whether for work or play. And if we contribute creative ideas and material we can make more than that.

All earnings, whether from labor or laughter, can be invested in the projects, events etc. we support, shaping our funny world, providing direction and growth.
