Funny money
Funny world is a laugh factory, and funny money measures laughter. We earn funny money by making people laugh or contributing to funny world. We earn $100/hour for work or play in funny world, just for showing up. We don't need to spend our earnings, since we can make all the funny money we want to spend. Instead we save 100% of our earnings and invest them in funny world. We carry our wealth in our collection of funnies, with investment penciled on the back. That's our personal version of funny world, what we want there and how much. When two or more players get together, funny world expands to the sum of their investments, and they see what they agree on. Active players make copies of their funnies to give away and spend and trade. Here are examples of play.

We have an inventory of funnies to trade, but the other player is new and has no funnies. That's OK. They earn $1/minute or $100/hour for playing, to acquire their favorite funnies, and we earn whatever they think they're worth, adding it to our own investment in those funnies. Note that both parties earn $100/hour in this transaction, and $200 of new wealth is created.

When two funny people get together, they'll want to trade what's new and add it to their collection.

At a game party, players will put out what topic they prefer for tonight's adventure, and work on alliances and compromises, until a direction emerges with the highest investment. The same for each step in the story.

There are endless games we can play with funny money, and without it. Funnies can be spoken. The stories and adventures go faster without the paperwork. Then we're on our way to being spontaneous funny people. We will carry our wealth and the contents of funny world in our heads.
