Funny is bad
To avoid the temptation of doing good, of establishing funny's glorious reign on earth, we have to go underground. Funny is subversive and illegal. It threatens the status quo. It's a joke played on society. We don't expect it to triumph.That's at odds with the joke that funny is the highest, where we pursue it openly and everyone laughs at us. Can we have it both ways? The idea that it is subversive and dangerous can also be open and a joke. The claims of hidden depths and mysteries, of fabulous treasures, are also overdone and disbelieved.
Yes, we can have everything, whatever's funny. It's all performance. Funny as bad, funny as too good and therefore hidden, are rich veins to develop, and counter the glorious mission, which in any case is beset by the Inquisition.

Funny money value
For serious people, making funny money is hard. Making people laugh is a tough job, and we have to do to save our souls or to advance in the game. Serious beginning players will value funny money the highest. As making funny money becomes easier, it becomes more abundant, and it will decline towards worthless, the official value.
